So it seem a lot of people really like trains. How do I know this? One of the most common search terms people use to find my blog is “train photos” or “HDR trains”. So here you go, Demand. I’d like to introduce you to Supply.
I took these pictures in Belton, MO. There’s a little train that runs there. They have an open car with picnic tables where the kids can get hot dogs and a train hat, and the train goes down the track for about 20 minutes, then reverses and comes back. All in all, good fun for the family. At the station, there are some other decommissioned engines and cars that one can photograph and explore, too. So I did. (Wondering what HDR photography is? Here’s my page about it. )
My son will love this! Because he loves trains, of course.
these are brilliant, as usual. So many people creating HDR photographs push the effect too far. I love the way the contrast and the detail both hold up concert, rather than leaning too far one way or the other.
You should look at making prints available…
